Develop a Direct Connect Partnership with Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group companies

Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental offer several reservation connection options to allow your company to retrieve real-time rates and availability.

Connect via Retail OTA

Our Retail OTA interfaces are fully compliant with the latest OTA requirements. This connection option is the quickest and preferred method of connecting with the Dollar and Thrifty reservation systems. While both Retail OTA interfaces are current, there are some unique characteristics of each which will require some separate coding requirements between the Dollar and Thrifty brands.

Connect via Tour Direct

Are you looking for a real-time and non-GDS option to shop and book your tour reservations? Then look no further than the Dollar Thrifty Tour Direct platform. This connectivity option is the quickest way to confirm your tour reservations as it has real-time access to rate, location, and vehicle availability. Response times via Tour Direct are measured in seconds, instead of the much longer times that you experience via e-mail and fax delivery. This product is the only connectivity option that allows companies to operate on a dynamic prepaid rate platform with the Dollar and Thrifty companies.

Connect via Global Distribution Systems (GDS)

Both the Dollar and Thrifty companies allow your company to reserve their vehicles via all GDS platforms of Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan, and Amadeus. For connectivity into these systems, please contact the GDS providers directly. (Dollar’s vendor code is ‘ZR’ and Thrifty’s vendor code is ‘ZT’)
